The Tapo RV30 Plus from networking giant TP Link is another excellent two-in-one. It's quiet and compact and has a neat, easy-to-clean appearance. In good robot vacuum cleaned the floors efficiently and thoroughly. It was particularly effective in cleaning rugs, however it required several runs to scrub certain areas of wood that were stained. Its LIDAR navigation is effective, too. It is able to avoid hitting furniture or running over power cables.
It's a little slow on the stairs however, that's to be expected from a small robot that's designed to work around obstacles. Its only downside is its mopping pad attachment, that was difficult to use and wouldn't stay in place during our tests. It is also not capable of dealing with dried-on dust which makes it more of an ordinary vacuum cleaner than a robot mop.
It's still a great choice for people who prefer a hands-off experience and want to clean low-pile or plain carpets equally. It has a decent amount of suction which allowed it to remove fine dust from pet hair and carpets.
